Founder of CQA Care LLC

My name is Carol Cook, and I am an in-home- healthcare provider. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management from Regent University and a Computer Information degree with a minor in Business from Alabama A&M University. I have experience in small businesses, management, retail, and medical. I have participated in Church and charitable events, and my passion is to help others and provide outstanding services. I enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Administering prescribed medication safely and accurately.

Assisting with personal hygiene, such as brushing teeth and hair.

Bathing

Assisting with a bath or shower, ensuring safety and hygiene.

Assisting with getting dressed and ensuring appropriate clothing is worn.

Take Vital Signs

Monitoring and recording vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate.

Wheelchair Assistance

Helping the individual safely move in and out of a wheelchair.

Observation

Monitoring individuals for changes in behavior or health status.

Turn or Reposition Assistance

Helping individuals move and change positions to prevent bedsores.

Change Sheets and bed Linens

Maintaining a clean and hygienic sleeping environment.

Communicate Issues to Nurse or Doctor

Reporting any concerns or changes to medical professionals.

Assistance with Daily Living Activities

Helping individuals with activities of daily living, such as eating and grooming.

Trach Care (including changing and cleaning)

Assisting with tracheostomy care, including changing and cleaning the tube.

Gastrostomy Tube Care (including tube feeding, cleaning, changing)

Assisting with feeding and cleaning gastrostomy tubes.

Bagging via Trach
or Mouth

Providing ventilation support through tracheostomy or mouth.

Respiratory
Treatment

Administering prescribed respiratory treatments, such as nebulizers or inhalers.

Suctioning

Removing excess mucus or secretions from the airway.

GAPP Details

The (GAPP) serves medically fragile and complex children under twenty-one and will start immediately following approval. This service is not a waiver, it is service by the state and takes up to thirty days for approval.

Parents are involved in the care treatment plan and with goal attainment set by individuals in our care. This plan is set up to give Georgia residents access to economical and exceptional health care through strategic planning and oversight
